Operations Management has long been one of the most difficult corporate disciplines to master. It encompasses so many different and complex areas of the business such as planning, implementation, monitoring and controlling, and managing. How then can organizations work smarter and optimize their operations?

Operations management works with a wide array of different business systems and processes, but a common denominator for most businesses is that these systems often don’t play well together. Introducing Telia, one of the Nordics’ biggest telecommunications providers. They previously delegated operational tasks via email but kept experiencing gaps in their communication and implementation, as well as difficulties tracking progress.

To overcome these barriers, the Telia team introduced their “To-Do”-task management tool. The solution enables both HQ and Telia stores to create and assign tasks with defined deadlines, and every store employee has a clear overview of their own assigned tasks.
